The American Crow is all black, notice even the bill and legs are black. They can be seen in the open areas near trees and are a year-round resident of this area. They are seldom seen alone, nest in trees, and are 17-20” in size. They eat carrion, insects, fruits, grains, nuts, and small animals. Notice how when flying, the wingtip feathers spread out like fingers.
