American Redstart

The American Redstart is a 5” warbler found in deciduous habitat. It resides here in summer and its nest is 2.75” diameter and 3” high usually placed in a pronged fork of a tree 4-30’ above ground. The next is a very neat firm woven cup lined with fine grasses and bound with spider silk. The American Redstart eats insects and small berries.
