Baltimore Oriole

Scientific: Icterus galbula
Norwegian: Lundtrupial

The Baltimore Oriole is seen is the open woods and builds a hanging nest, many times found in large Cottonwood trees. They are 7- inches and eat caterpillars, small dark colored fruit, and nuts. The female has the orange breast and tail, but the wings are gray and the head is a mottled gray and orange.
