Barred Owl

The Barred Owl lives in coniferous and deciduous forests and is between 18-23 inches. They have soulful eyes, rounded head with no ear tufts, and the their hooting call is similar to "who cooks for you?". They are a year-round resident and hunt small mammals. They nest in large tree cavities.
