Eastern Meadowlark

The Eastern Meadowlark is 7.5-10.25 inches and has a long, spear shaped bill and short tail .They live in pastures, hay fields, and cropland borders. They are summer resident around Spring Grove. They nest in shallow depression on the ground using coarse and fine grasses. They eat cutworms, grubs, caterpillars, grasshoppers, and weed seeds.
