Northern Bobwhite Quail

One of the goals of the Norwegian Ridge Birding and Nature Trails
is to establish several Bobwhite habitats to once again have the
Northern Bobwhite Quail a regular resident of our area. The Norther
Bobwhite Quail are 8-11 inches and weighs approximately 6 ounces.
They lives in open fields and pastures and are year-round resident.
They nests in depression on the
ground in forests and grasslands.
They eat insects and seeds
