Veery

Norwegian: Viriskogtrost

The Veery is seen in moist deciduous woods, bottomland forests, deep ravines and is 6-7 inches. However, they build a large nest that is 10 inches built close to ground or in brush piles. Often Cowbirds deposit eggs in a Veery nest. They eat insects, invertebrates foraged on the ground, and fruit.
